Thousands of families in southern Lebanon have been displaced due to the recent escalation of violence. Homes have been destroyed, forcing people to flee with little more than the clothes on their backs. The displaced are struggling to access food, shelter, and medical care. This crisis is leaving entire communities in urgent need of assistance, with vulnerable groups like children and the elderly most affected. Immediate action is required to provide relief and prevent further suffering.
The humanitarian crisis in the Bekaa Valley – Arsal is deepening. The Israeli attacks have forced thousands to flee their homes, seeking refuge in this region. As a result, the Bekaa Valley is now home to a large number of displaced people from southern Lebanon, Beirut, and other affected areas.
Al Amal Association is calling on the international community to provide urgent humanitarian assistance. The needs are immense, and the situation is deteriorating rapidly.
Our campaign will focus on:
- Bekaa Valley – Arsal: We will concentrate our efforts on this region, which has received a massive influx of displaced families and is in dire need of immediate assistance.
- Food and Water: We will work tirelessly to provide and distribute substantial quantities of essential food items and clean drinking water to meet the needs of both the displaced and the residents.
- Medical Supplies: We will swiftly reopen Al Amal Association’s hospital in Arsal to provide free medical services to all in need, especially women, children, and the elderly.
- Winter Essentials: As winter approaches, we will provide warm clothing, blankets, and tents to protect the displaced from the harsh cold.
- Psychological Support: We will offer psychological support to children affected by the war to help them overcome the trauma they have experienced.
